About: Dr. Christiana Asiedu is a Ghanaian public health nursing educator, researcher, and academic leader, and a Senior Lecturer at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Cape Coast (UCC). She is the immediate past Head of the Department of Mental Health Nursing, where she provided academic and research leadership. Her research interests include nursing education, reproductive health, health promotion, and nursing practice, with publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals. She is a 2025 ICCHNR Scholar and management committee member. Dr Asiedu has received recognition for her contributions to nursing education and research, including the National Nurses and Midwives Excellence Hall of Fame Award by the Ministry of Health and the African Public Service Optimum (APSO) Award for her contributions to adult health education and research. Dr. Asiedu holds a PhD and has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate students in nursing and health sciences. Through her teaching, research, supervision, and academic leadership, she contributes to strengthening nursing and midwifery education, developing future nursing and midwifery leaders, and promoting evidence-based practice in Ghana.
